A Letter From The Groom

Sleeping Giant Mountain is directly next to the college I attended, Quinnipiac University. Every year on my birthday, I would hike the mountain, sit on the edge looking out at the world, and reflect on my life. Even after I graduated I would return for my solitary hike. To me, a very specific spot at the top of this mountain represented ultimate solidarity. 

I could think of no better place in the world to bring Jamie. From here on out, my decisions, actions, and adventures would include her.

It was all planned out in my mind. She would look out at the view, as its impossible not to, and when she turned back around I would be ready. As I told her there, down on one knee, “this is the place I have come to be the most alone in the world, but I don’t need to be alone anymore”.

And now, I am not alone. Jamie and I are not alone either. Our life is full of extraordinary people, truly some of the greatest family and friends in the world.  We are prepped, we are poised, and we are ready to CELEBRATE with all of you.

The View

The view from the grounds of Liberty House looks directly at our home of downtown Manhattan, a place that is very near and dear to our hearts. We have designed both the ceremony and reception to take advantage of this view, and bring our home a little closer to all of you.
